How It Works

Health care professional (HCP) captures high quality images of the anterior segment and retina using the Paxos Scope hardware adapter and mobile application.

Image is automatically transmitted to the HIPAA-compliant Paxos cloud. HCP uses app to securely view and share images with collaborators for consultation as needed.

Collaborator views and provides feedback for patient images through the Paxos Scope mobile app or web platform. HCP follows up with patient with any next steps.

*If you are not satisfied for any reason, our return policy allows you to send the product back within 30 days for a refund of the first month’s billing. Cancellation of Paxos software within first 6 months requires return of Paxos Scope adapter. Federal law in the US restricts the Paxos Scope adapter to sale by or on the order of a healthcare professional.

Reimbursement

Physician use of DigiSight’s mobile ophthalmic camera with qualified patients is a reimbursable service under CPT codes 92225, 92226, and 92250. Remote imaging for monitoring and management of active retinal disease is a covered service under CPT code 92228. Contact the Medicare Administrative Contractor in your jurisdiction or other payor for qualifying conditions and criteria.

Support

Paxos Scope is available for use on iPhone 6, iPhone 6s and iPod 6 running iOS 9.3 or later.  Paxos Scope will be supported on iPhone 7 and iPhone 7+ in Q1 of 2017. For additional support info, including product documentation and videos, please click the link below to access our support page.
